Best MLB Home Run Bets Today: Friday, June 5, 2026

An overhead view of a MLB stadium

The stock market may have taken an absolute dive this week, with the S&P down over 200 points on Friday alone, but fear not - we have lots of home run bets on the board to make up for those losses. (I hope my sarcasm is coming through - gambling is not a better way to make money long-term than investing - but we like to have fun here at HeatRadar.)

Yesterday’s blog went 0-2 at flat 1u, -2.00u on the writeups. Brandon Valanzuela was a pick but wasn’t in the lineup. The home run model is still at +27.5 units since launch.

Best home run bets today

Picks below all cleared our +175 edge filter at this morning’s commit. Best lines listed are the prices to shop for across Caesars, BetRivers, Hard Rock, Pinnacle, and the regional prop-shops we trust.

J.P. Crawford (SEA): +1000

Crawford is fresh off a home run 2026-06-03 against Freddy Peralta, a 103.3 mph, 409-foot shot (BANG of 83.1 on the play). The contact quality is moving the right direction into tonight’s matchup with Framber Valdez.

On the platoon side: Crawford has hit 1 of his HRs against LHP this year (1 in 70 PA, one every 70). On the other side, Valdez has allowed 2 HR to LHB in 74 PA this year (2.7%).

There’s a recent-contact tailwind too: L7 BANG of 10.4 is above his season 5.8.
