Rest-of-Season Fantasy Football Rankings

Updated Oct 7, 2026 · 296 players · 2026 season

Every skill-position player ranked in fantasy for the rest of the 2026 season, in standard, half or full PPR.

The default sort is value over replacement, meaning points above a player you could pick up for nothing at the same position. Think of this as a trade value chart.

How these projections are built

The column nobody else publishes is projected games played. Most ranking sets quietly assume everyone stays upright, which is a strange thing to assume about football. Ours prices in a durability model fitted on 2,215 player-seasons, and the useful move there was separating chronic absence, the recurring soft-tissue kind that predicts itself, from catastrophic injury, which mostly does not. That separation is why a 15-point-per-game back who has missed time three years running sits below one who has not.

Projections are anchored to betting markets too. Where our number and a de-vigged season-long line disagree by more than 10%, the market wins and we move.

As for the columns: Value is points above a freely available player at the same position, Proj Points is the full-season line, what he has already banked plus what we project across the games he has left. Pts/G is what he has actually scored per game so far, not a projection; a dash means he has not played. Rank stays with the player however you sort the table. Value runs on the games REMAINING, so it answers what he is worth from here rather than what he was worth in August.

Where that bar sits depends on your league, so it is not hardcoded. Open Roster above and set the real shape - team count, starters, flex, superflex - and every Value recalculates against the bar your league actually creates. Two receivers instead of three moves the receiver bar up by roughly ten slots and quietly demotes the position. Superflex is the dramatic one: a second quarterback-eligible seat roughly doubles the quarterbacks being started, which is why they stop being an afterthought. It leaves running back, receiver and tight end untouched, because the extra seats are won by quarterbacks on raw points and the flex fill never reaches down into the other positions.

Rest-of-season rankings, answered

How does trade value work in fantasy football?

A trade is a swap of what each player has left. Not what he cost you in August, not what he did on Sunday; what he is going to do from here. That is the whole idea, and it is why a rest-of-season board is the right thing to trade against.

Two players averaging fourteen points a game are not worth the same if one is expected to play four more times than the other. Availability is part of the price, so the Value column already has it baked in rather than leaving you to adjust for it in your head.

Here is the part people get wrong. You are not comparing the two players in the deal to each other; you are comparing each of them to whoever would take his snaps on your roster. Give up your third receiver and the man replacing him is your fourth, so what you actually lose is the gap between them, which is usually much smaller than the gap in raw points suggests.

How do I know if a fantasy trade is fair?

Add up the Value column on each side. If the two totals are close, it is a fair trade in the only sense that matters, which is rest-of-season production over what a freely available player gives you.

But fair and good are different questions, and most trades are decided by the second one. A fair trade that turns three startable players into two better ones is usually a win for you, because you only start so many; the depth you gave up was scoring points on your bench. Run the same logic in reverse before you accept a deal that looks generous on paper.

Set your league shape under Roster first. A ten-team league and a fourteen-team league price the same player very differently, because the bar he is being measured against moves with the number of teams competing for it.

What does rest-of-season mean in fantasy football?

Everything a player has left this year, from today through the end of the regular season. Games already played are gone; they inform the projection, but they are not in it.

That is the difference between this board and a week-to-week one. For a single Sunday, go to the weekly rankings or the start/sit tool, which lean hard on what has happened this season and much less on the preseason view. For holds, drops and trades, the longer horizon is the one you want.

Why not just sort by projected points?

Because quarterbacks score the most and you only start one of them. Sort on raw points and you get a list with sixteen passers at the top, which is accurate and useless.

The question is never who scores most. It is how much better a player is than the man you could add for nothing at the same position, and that bar is different for every position and every league. Set your roster shape and watch it move: cutting from three receivers to two lifts the receiver bar by about ten slots and quietly demotes the whole position, while superflex roughly doubles the quarterbacks being started and turns the position you used to punt into one you cannot.
